since moving to the great northeast,
(the great, white, expensive, northeast - i might add)
i have been doing way more couponing than i used to.
i have always been one for getting great deals, but now we are getting AMAZING deals.
here's how.
i am using this website...Living Rich with Coupons.
it is so fabulous.
she does most of the work for you.
each week, cindy, posts all the "match ups".
these are when the stores have a sale, AND you can use a coupon.
she also posts catalinas, which are basically like cash/gift cards you can use the next trip.
the best deal we have ever gotten was in the summer.
we bought about $40 worth of shredded kraft cheese for $0.
hello.
also, we have been getting FREE canned tomoatoes all winter.
hello, chili.
for practically free.
even the cashiers want to know how we are saving so much money on groceries.
this website and couponing hobby has enabled us to stock our pantry, and to get to the place where this month we only spent 1/2 our relatively low anyways, food budget (we used the other half to pay for our Financial Peace Univeristy classes!). And we are still eating well, AND have had company over.
you have got to check it out.
and invest some time in a new hobby.
get ready to take it to a whole new level.
I'll see if I can use this!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to coupon when you TRY to buy mostly organic.......I'm not an organic queen, but it's hard to bring junk into the house..even if I get it for free....
dilemmas, dilemmas.
tara, i totally get this!
ReplyDeletewe don't buy the stuff that's bad for you, even if it is free.
we just do the deals on stuff like cheese, cereal, pasta, canned veggies...things we are going to eat anyway.
