sweet strawberries.

we are 45 minutes away from the biggest city, and 45 minutes away from farm country.
after the gym yesterday morning we hopped in the car and drove to farmer jones' strawberries field.
we picked 11 pounds, and paid way less than we would have at the grocery store.
hello,  smoothies for the rest of the year.
PLUS, the berries are grown with sustainable methods.
while they may not be organic, they are pretty close.

after the berry picking, we went to the well's hollow creamery.
they make the ice cream right on site, and use the milk from the cows you can meet!
husband couldn't get over how big the cows were.
i couldn't get over how good the ice cream was.
i had bluberry cream pie, and he had brownie batter.
yum.

enjoy the pictures of the day!

picking out the very best berries.

all the berries looked so beautiful!

husband looking for only the best berries

we were almost done...11 pounds!

can you believe we live here?
wells hollow creamery.  hello, cows.
