i have been menu planning since my days in weightwatchers.
and since my days of paying for my own food.
it seriously helps with our budget.
husband and i save SO much money using a menu plan.
and not just any plan.
i plan what we eat each week around what is on sale that week.
menu planning usually starts on Saturday nights, and then continues into Sunday.
i use lots of websites to get new recipes, and use the flyers for our local grocery store.

here is what we are eating this week:
Sunday: Homemade Pizza with red peppers, onions, and pepporoni
btw. i have just perfected my crust after much experimentation. pictures and recipes to come.
Monday: Split Pea Soup; recipe found here. smells amazing!
Tuesday: Brinner. Eggs, Bacon, and Toast
Wednesday: Pasta with White Bean Sauce; Found here.
Thursday: Company Night! Grilled Shrimp and Chicken Kababs with baked sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus
Friday: Left Overs!
Saturday: Chili, from here.
